Dental patient recall software that shows your receptionist whom to call
DentXOS prepares a list of patients who are due for a routine visit, a check after a procedure, or treatment they have not finished. Your receptionist calls each patient, notes the result of the call, and can send a WhatsApp reminder with one tap.
- Included in both plans
- From ₹12,000 a year
Decide when each patient should be called back
A patient comes in for scaling, feels fine afterwards, and does not return for a year or more. Nobody in the clinic has the time to go through old case papers to find out who is due.
In DentXOS you set up the types of recall your clinic uses, and for each type you choose a gap of 1 to 24 months. For example, you may recall patients six months after scaling and once a year for a routine check-up. When a patient becomes due, their name appears in a list of patients to call on the Recalls page. Each row shows the reason for the recall, the phone number and the due date, so your receptionist knows what to say before calling.
Recalls are switched off when you start using DentXOS. You switch them on for your clinic when you are ready to use them.
- Set up your own recall types, each with a gap of 1 to 24 months
- See the patients who are due in one list, with the reason and the due date
- Recalls stay switched off until your clinic switches them on
Follow up on unfinished treatment and on patients after a procedure
Some patients accept a treatment plan and stop coming before it is finished. For example, a patient completes the RCT on tooth 36 and does not come back for the crown. DentXOS lists these patients on the Recalls page, so your receptionist can call them and book the next visit. The patient has already seen the plan and the estimate, so the call is a reminder of the treatment that is pending.
The Recalls page also lists patients who need a follow-up after a procedure. After an extraction or an RCT, your receptionist can call the patient to ask about pain or swelling, and you will know if the patient needs to come in earlier than planned.
Your receptionist notes each call against the patient, along with the result, such as no answer or will call back. The next person at the reception can then see who has already been called.
- See the patients who have not finished their treatment plan
- See the patients who need a follow-up call after a procedure
- Note each call, so that the same patient is not called twice
Send recall reminders on WhatsApp with one tap
DentXOS writes the recall reminder for the patient and places it in the "To send" list. Your receptionist taps the "Send on WhatsApp" button, and WhatsApp opens with the message already written. They read it and send it from their own WhatsApp, so they do not have to type the same reminder for every patient.
No message goes out unless someone in your clinic sends it. DentXOS does not send SMS or email, and at present it does not send recall messages on its own. Automatic sending is launching soon on the Pro plan.
- Recall reminders are kept ready in the "To send" list
- The message is already written, and your staff send it from their own WhatsApp
- DentXOS does not send SMS or email, and no message goes out without your staff
