Doctor commission for your dental clinic, worked out from each bill
If a visiting consultant gets 40% on implants and your associate gets a different share, someone has to add it all up at the end of every month. In DentXOS you enter each dentist's percentage one time, and the commission is worked out from the bills your clinic makes.

You set the commission percentage for each dentist
Most clinics have a different arrangement with each dentist. A visiting endodontist may get one percentage on root canals, an implantologist may get 40% on implants, and an associate may get the same percentage on all the work they do. In many clinics these numbers are kept in a register, or the owner remembers them.
In DentXOS you enter a percentage for each dentist and for each type of procedure. You also enter a default percentage, which is used for any type of procedure you have not set. When you agree on a new percentage with a dentist, you enter the date it starts from, and bills made from that date use the new percentage.

Commission is counted when the bill is made
DentXOS counts commission on the amount that was billed, after any discount, on the day the bill is made. For example, if an RCT is priced at ₹12,000 and you give the patient a discount of ₹2,000, the consultant's commission is worked out on ₹10,000. If the discount was given in the treatment plan, the bill carries the same discount.
When a long treatment such as braces is billed in several parts, commission is counted on each bill as it is made.
If a bill is cancelled, DentXOS takes the commission on that bill back from the dentist's total on its own, so nobody in the clinic has to remember to correct it.

You can pay a dentist in parts and see what is still pending
Consultants are not always paid the full amount at one time. You may pay ₹10,000 in the middle of the month and the rest after the month ends. Each time you pay a dentist, you record the payment in DentXOS, and it shows how much each dentist has earned, how much you have paid and how much is still pending.
Each dentist can see their own commission in the app. When a consultant wants to know how much is due, they can check it themselves, and the figures come from the same bills your receptionist made.
At the end of the month you can open the commission summary report, which shows the commission of all your dentists together. There is also a report that shows how many patients each dentist saw and how much was billed, so you can see the work behind the commission.

Is commission worked out on the amount we billed or on the amount the patient paid?
It is worked out on the amount you billed, after discount, on the day the bill is made. DentXOS does not work out commission on the money collected. If you pay your consultants only after the patient has paid, you will need to hold back that part of the payment yourself.
What happens to the commission if we cancel a bill?
The commission on that bill is taken back on its own, and the dentist's earned total goes down by that amount.
Can a visiting endodontist and our associate have different percentages?
Yes, they can. You set the percentage for each dentist and for each type of procedure. For example, the endodontist can have one percentage on root canal work, and the associate can have a different percentage on all the work they do.
We have agreed on a higher percentage from next month. Will the old bills change?
No, the old bills will not change. You enter the new percentage with the date it starts from. Bills made from that date use the new percentage, and earlier bills keep the percentage that applied at that time.
Can a consultant see what the other dentists earn?
Each dentist can see their own commission. Whether anyone else can open the commission summary report depends on what you allow for their role, and you can change this for a role or for one person.
