Do I need to install anything?
No. DentXOS runs in any browser on your front-desk computer and as a fast web app on the doctor's phone - add it to the home screen and it behaves like a native app, with none of the app-store waits. Updates ship automatically; there's never a version to chase.
Can I move my existing patient data over?
Yes. The guided import takes a CSV of your patients, maps it to the right fields, and shows you exactly what will be created or updated before anything is committed - so you can fix bad rows first. We help you through it as part of onboarding - setup is a day's work, not a month's project.
Is it really built for Indian clinics?
Down to the details. UPI QR collection with reference capture, an India-ready drug catalogue, lab-order workflows for crowns and dentures, per-tooth or flat procedure pricing, ₹ lakh/crore formatting and walk-in token numbers are built in - not bolted on. The whole product assumes an Indian dental practice from the start.
Can it run multiple branches?
Yes. Manage every chair, every branch and every staff role from one dashboard, with data scoped per branch, then roll it all up into a consolidated view of visits, revenue and capacity across the group. Add a branch any time.
Does it handle inventory, labs and vendor payments?
Yes. Inventory tracks items by batch and expiry with low-stock and expiring-soon alerts and stocktake counts; procurement covers purchase orders, goods receipts and a vendor ledger with aged dues; and lab orders track each case from sent-to-lab to fitted, flagging anything overdue. Expenses and cash flow live in the same system - so nothing needs a second tool.
How does it handle doctors paid on commission?
Set a rate per dentist and procedure category, and commission accrues automatically the moment an invoice is issued. Each doctor sees their own earned, settled and pending totals, and you settle a period into a single payout with a UTR or cheque reference - no month-end spreadsheet reconciliation.
What about patient data privacy and security?
Access is role-based, so staff only see what they need, and a quick PIN unlock keeps shared front-desk terminals secure with an auto-logout. Every change - and every time a patient record is viewed - is written to an audit trail you can query. Your data is encrypted in transit and exportable any time, no questions asked.

Yes. The front desk, doctors and assistants work in the same live system simultaneously, with permissions per role. A change on the front-desk PC shows up on the doctor's phone the next time it loads.
